Is it ok to use children for advertisment?

I think children aren't supposed to be in advertisement, because they often have no idea what they are participating in and its also usually not their own decision to be there. Being in advertisement can be sometimes hard and I think kids arent ready for it. Adverts are using your image in a very specific way, which can be damaging. There are situations where the ad gets viral or is just very controversial, and actors, whether its their fault or not, get to live with the consequences. An advert can affect your social life, your face can start getting recognised in public, and so much more, even the least predictable. So while taking part in it, you should be 100% sure and ready to do it, and kids are nor proper for all of that.

Why is it hard to admit we have been wrong?

It’s not easy to admit we have been wrong, because it attacks our self-esteem. When we say something, for example in an argument, we often feel proud of our statement. This kind of situation boosts our self-esteem and makes us feel smarter and better than the person we are talking to. Then, when we start to realise we’ve been wrong the whole time, taking the statement back just hurts our mentality. It makes us feel even more stupid and embarrassed. It also gives power to the recipient, which we interpret as just being worse than them. I think admitting to being wrong is hard, because we like feeling intelligent, and being wrong is just the opposite.

Why do most people root for an underdog?

I think there are 2 main reasons why we root for the underdog. It’s because we want everyone to feel equal, and also because we simply relate to them. First, we want the world to be fair, so even when it’s almost obvious that one team will win, we root for the underdog just to let them get an equal shot. And also we support the underdog, because we all identify with their struggles at some point and watching them succeed or even try, makes us feel better.
